Every Mother’s Day, happiness and gratitude are always present as you thank mothers for their unconditional love. In light of one million remarriages taking place in the U.S. annually and 65% of remarriages including children, step-motherhood can be a mixed blessing. Sometimes it is challenging, frustrating, and stressful. Other times it’s full of cherished memories. But what about stepmothers? Stepmoms are indeed mothers too and 14 million stepmoms in the U.S. would like to be remembered and deserve to be honored on Mother’s Day as well.

The Mother’s Day celebration is not exclusive to young mothers only. In fact, grandmother’s should also have the spotlight during Mother’s Day since they are mothers too after all. Let’s take the opportunity this Mother’s Day to celebrate not only mothers, but grandmothers as well. And there is no better way to show our appreciation to our grandmothers than by putting our feelings into words and expressing them in front of our grandmas too.
