Buying books to read is often as much an emotional decision as an intellectual one. This site provides a means for authors, publishers, book sellers and the book loving reader to find others who share their passion. Book discussion can be a similar experience to going to a film or a play or playing some music. It is always good to talk about and compare our responses to books we read and this site is set up to help us to read relevant book articles.

The books business today is more than ever about being willing to enter into a dialog. Publishers, booksellers and writers are now beginning to recognize this truth that book discussion is an essential part of deciding which books to read. Only through book articles and book discussion has William P. Young’s novel “The Shack”  found itself on many best-seller lists without requiring any advertising?

Recommendations sell books and those in the book trade who can adapt and open themselves up to scrutiny and book discussion on sites like this will be the long-term winners. No longer can writers rely on critics in ivory towers as their arbiters of quality and of which books to read. We now all want to express our views about which books merit our attention and which writers deserve our valuable time.

Book articles and comments published on Books Buyer can now find their way directly to potential purchasers. Moreover, you can generate passion as well as intellectual scrutiny here just by discussing a particular book to read. The site is structured so that each  book article can be filed in an appropriate category and with relevant tags so that readers searching under those particular book categories may well be directed to your article and subsequently to your web site, or to their local bookstore for the book in question.

These are exciting times for the book trade and for readers alike and we look forward to facilitating open ended book discussion here in order to help you decide which books to read. You can Publish Your Book Articles here to get started.
